Our dreams have been studied for years by psychologists, but never has it been portrayed in such a way that Inception has. It was such a mind-fuck that it kept me thinking throughout the movie. So many different aspects were comprised into this film and it surely payed off because it is a MUST WATCH type of film. Pay attention to each character as they introduce them and get ready for an experience that will keep you thinking even after the movie finishes.

Summer has been great to me so far I've spent 2 weekends in Vegas and won $500, staying active by biking and playing basketball, everyday there seems to be something to do, and lastly Congrats to the newly weds Jon & Jackie. Keep the good vibes flowing as tonite Game 2 of the Lake Show is about to begin. All this free time I cannot believe I'm putting it to good use. We all have our favorite "Superhero" and usually the top choices for most people would be Spider-man, Superman, Batman, Wolverine, Gambit, Ice Man, etc...but my all time favorite Superhero has got to be Colossus. I mean come on, who wouldn't wanna be the most physically strongest X-Men hero? He is able to transform himself being engulfed by a metallic body making him pretty much indestructible. Fuck yea I would like that!! His powers and abilities caught my attention and loved this fool ever since. My love for this Hero started as a child while playing one of the best 'beat em up' arcade games of all time. The X-Men Arcade Game.[Other honorable mentions are The Simpsons and Ninja Turtles]

This was a 6 player multi-player arcade game, how EPIC! As 6 players wasn't enough, the player choices were to pick from one of six X-Men: Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler. Time and time again, I would choose Colossus because he was so strong and his special ability was unmatched. He created an aoe (area of effect) attack that killed anyone it touched. I could play this game until all my quarters ran out, man that was good times.

I am ranting about this because this discussion came up with some friends and I would like to justify myself through this post. Colossus in some way like me; posed as shy a character, honest and innocent. [haha, you might think] But his back story is pretty interesting as well. I believe that this character does not get enough attention, because when he appeared in the X-Men movies it was so lame it made me mad and disappointed. I know that his role with the X-Men is not an integral part but as far as the arcade went, it was Kitty who was kidnapped and they both had mutual feelings for each other. Sheesh, there is nothing left to say but no matter what he will remain to be my all time favorite [X-Men] Superhero.

So...over the past week there were many events that have transpired. A few of which should be mentioned, others will be left as a memory. First off would be my 22nd birthday, the day started off slow but ended with a bang. Once again, thank you for all those who attended and to those that did not you missed out. Second was 4/20, do I even need to explain? haha. Third, I forgot ;] and Fouth, was the Zeta Ball 2010 Basketball tournament. *siiigh* is what describes my feelings about this one. After being undefeated going on a 6-0 run making it to the finals, the game is on the line (we had point) score 14-13 (straight up to 15) the ball is in our possession...after a few failed attempted and fouls we ended up with no bucket and a turnover. We scramble back on defense and the opposing team rotates the ball outside the 3pt line. Then a pump fake twice to create an open shot, I hold my breath....swoosh game over. It was a hard loss and being so close yet not there was heartbreaking. But all and all, I'm proud of our performance as a team and can expect nothing more. It was a good run team T1000.

As for this week, it is gunna be a busy one. Need to be prepared and stay focused because I have a research paper, a project paper, and a presentation/paper to work on due next week. "Finish Strong" is my motto, with 4 weeks left this semester there is no turning back. Wish me luck!

As I begin each day taking a deep breath from the place I awake from, I am reminded of how great of a life I'm living at this present time. Not many obligation to take care, few things to worry about [mostly only school] and always knowing that I will be a healthy human being. Although my life isn't perfect (but who's is??), I am thankful for the one I live. We live in a strange world, one in which people take many things for granted and do not appreciate the many illegitimate needs one has. I am currently reading "The Rhythm of Life" and the book really helps give me the feeling of having a of purpose or a sense of putting life in prospective. It talks about being the best-version-of-yourself and how to you can improve that person you think you and and who you strive to become. Still taking life one step at a time, but its always a good thing to just stop think, and extract yourself. Make adjustments and become that person you want to be and to how to attain it.

In aesthetics, sublime is the quality of greatness or vast magnitude, whether physical, moral, intellectual, metaphysical, aesthetic, spiritual or artistic. While listening to the band Sublime, I cannot get over the fact that [to me] it means travelling or road trip music. In about 30hrs or so, I will be on the other side of the U.S. in New York. Heading there solo this time, is an experience in itself and gives me a chance to feel independent. (until I meet up with my mom and brother, that is) Whenever I travel somewhere alone, whether it be driving or biking to a destination near or far, I always take it as an opportunity to explore and do it my way, however I see it fit.

Today for example, I had to run an errand in Costa Mesa. Here, I took full advantage of my location and went to the LAB, and then to Mitsuwa Marketplace. After that, headed back home from the 405N-605N to stop by and grab some free ice cream @ Ben & Jerry's.

With that being said, I wonder what kind of new adventures I could have alone when travelling to NY. All it takes for me is curiosity and willingness to do something. Excited as I am, I don't expect an extra ordinary time while in NY. But just a chance to live life there as a commoner, living amongst the locals. My perception of the life in NY, tends to be that of 'lastnightsparty' because even though it captures only the most captivating scenes that could sum up a whole night, I wish to be among these people and gather with them. Enjoy life as they do and fuck anyone who tries to disrupt their fun.
I am who I am regardless of who shall want to stand by me; I accept myself. I wish to be alone at times so I can take a step back and ponder life. Where I want to be in the near future and how to achieve it. Being alone isn't emptiness, it's a chance to figure out who you are and what makes you. I apologize for the rambling, I don't know how my mind wandered off like that...So stopping now before another paragraph produces is a good idea. I'll end it off with a little something I thought of when listening to Sublime.

This past weekend, was probably one of the most tiring, longest, and funnest weekends I've had in awhile. Participating in Cal Poly's Sportfest playing softball, on a dope ass team was much more than I expected. The competition was good, and most of the players were coo too. We did great for putting this team together on the whim, but we'll mos definitely take the Championship next year...

Today is the start of a new month which means: new music, new experiences, new discoveries, and I cannot forget New York. I have never been to New York during the winter season and am very excited see not only my friends over there, but the scenery. This time I'm going to take the local approach, instead of the tourist =]. I started today waking up to a Sunny hump day and was very happy about that. Because last nite, the weather said AM showers, whew what a relief. Riding my bike to school gives me a chance to feel free and makes me appreciate the socal weather more. Along with biking, I had a two great basketball sessions. I played from 2-4:30pm then from 7-9pm. RaWr, beastin' it @ the goldmine is always fun. Winning is just icing on the cake :] Now it's time for a good nights rest and prepare for another good All-Star weekend. Forget Valentines Day, whats that? haha.

This past weekend has been a blast to say the least...Last week I came home to see that my friends had sporadically bought a hookah. [to be honest, I think that's another bad habit waiting to happen] Non-the-less, why not take advantage of what we have while it lasts? For the next two days another couple of days of Beer Pong feat. a hookah machine. Same people, same kind of fun. Although it can be repetitive, it still gets the job done. =]

Saturday I switched it up a little bit and headed down to San Diego with my brother @jclo24. There we met with some old and new friends from New York. [Antonia, Lisa, and Daji] We met them up at Horton Plaza and figured out a game-plan for the evening. First we drove around and tried to find Balboa park but failed. [seriously this wasn't my fault, I was the driver and he was the navigator] So then we headed up to La Jolla and strolled down to the beach to check out the view and the sea lions. It was a gloomy day, but I was glad we got there to see the beautiful sun set. It began to sprinkle so we headed back to the car. A few of us were hungry and two of the had not had In-N-Out Burger yet, so it was inevitable to go there. After the first bite, I think they fell in love, lolz. Anyone outside of Cali is jealous of us for having In-N-Out. Especially because White Castle DOES NOT do justice. Then to end the night, we headed back down to Downtown to Gas Lamp district where we walked around and absorbed the SD nightlife. All I expected from my trip to San Diego was to show the NY girls a good time and make the trip to West Coast well worth it.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!! The Super Bowl is upon us and what do you know, SAINT MUTHA SUCKA!! I'm so proud and glad that the Saints won, especially because the support and what they were playing for. They there like the "Cinderella" team and they took home the trophy, so congrats. Enough of that...
Sunday the girls took a train up to Cerritos and I showed them my humble abode. They mentioned something about 'Sprinkles' so my friend Sean and I took them to the one in fashion island and bought a dozen cupcakes!! It was also my first time there so I was pretty excited. We got an array of flavors: peanut butter, coconut, marshmallow, milk chocolate, and the fan favorite red velvet. Although it wasn't worth the money, I paid for the experience. I came home to food made by my mom [thanks mom!!], pizza, and enough beer for us all. Sunday night beerpong is something one must do at least one time. haha. We started early (7pm) so we didn't have to stay up too late at night.

All n' all, the weekend was a successful one and I know this upcoming All-Star weekend we'll come back for round two. Until next time, Peace and Love. =]

So far my time here has been very good to meh. Although there is much traffic and it is busy 24/7, we've been able to get around via subway and bus. I'll post up pix later, but for now it's all about wut I post on twitter. My brother and I tried to blend in as much as we can and not look like tourists, but that is inevitable. So far we've been able to see to walk around Times Square, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, and go to the Yankee's game today (although it got a rain delay and we left before the game started. haha), play basketball, and ate at some pretty good local spots around the area (thanks to DJ aKa Sandal Man). This has been one of the only few times I've had access to the internet since staying in Times Square so I've been laggin on my thoughts. Jus check meh out on Twitter to see wassup bcuz I'll usually post shit every few hours or so. I'll keep ya'll posted!! Peace.

Start Packing...

It it's already Thursday and I have yet to pack for our trip to the East coast. Along with myself, it will be my brother and my mom traveling to 3 states on the East Coast. (Maybe across more...?) How exciting will it be once we land...?? We will be first traveling to New York City aKa Big Apple!! I really wish I had my bike to just wander around the streets and get lost...I think that would really be an adventure. In New York we will be staying at the "W" Hotel which is suppose to be one of the nice & most exquisite hotel's, but maybe it's all aesthetics. haha. (more pix here) With our time being spend there, we will visit such attractions like: the Statue of Liberty, a Yankee's game, the Baseball Hall of Fame, etc...and take on the role of being tourists for a little bit. After New York we will be taking a train to Philly, where it is only logical to try the "real" Philly Cheese steak and grab some beers on along with them. After checking out different sites in Philly we'll then take a plane down to Florida...and by that time I hope to rub it in their faces that Laker's clenched won the Championship!! hahah.
I have no expectations for this trip but know that it will be a great experience for meh, especially since it's been a very long time since we've been on a family trip like this even though it's jus 3 of us. I will try and post pix up daily and jot some things about my time there. Wish us luck and safe travels. Until we come back at the end of the month... =]

It's been a minute since I've written on this thing so I owe it to myself. Finals are over and done with, and it was a brutal 2 weeks. So for I have not done much but, completed a weekend full of hanging out with my "favorite" kid, and along-side 2 other wonderful one's. (haha, jus to make her feel special) Gosh Santa Barbara college kids love to drink -___- but at least my summer hasn't consisted of my sitting in a chair contemplating life and my total existence. I am constantly keeping myself busy and having much trouble going to bed anytime before 3am. I might even stay up to watch the sunrise alone again....*siiigh* Also, basketball has consumed me. Watching the NBA playoffs and playing park ball or at the Goldmine. I hope Lakers can pull off a win here at home (today) and then win the series in game 6 in Denver. Until then, all we can do is wait...

Last night turned out to be a pretty awesome night. Although things were very unexpected, it twerked out for the best. It started out from watching the Laker's game then having planned to attend 2 different parties. (both of which would have been hella crackin) Since that didn't fall through I was stumped upon what to do. Then my mom, (yes my MOM!!) came to the house and all of a sudden asked if we wanted to go to the casino. As crazy as that sounded, we left on a whim @ around 10pm and headed to Oceanside. Upon my arrival I had edited my facebook status to show my plans for the night. About halfway there I got a call from my bra Dennis aKa Grillz and axxed meh to be his wingman for the night and hit up the club. After a few minutes of debate I decided I'd be down, but first I had to suwoop on some "proverbial fat cash" After about 40mins of play @ the casino I ended up winning $150 and left satisfied. We headed towards North Side Downtown SD to club U-31 where all the hipsters club. Outside there was about 50 fixies on just like 3 different road signs. It was very interesting to see, like a japanese bike meet or something. haha. It was all and all a good time. Then after the club, we HAD to hit up Alvaro's Mexican food and beast on some carnifries. That would pretty much sum up my night, so sorry for rambling on. haha. til next time....

yess I have finally turned 21 and so much has happened since. Drinkin in public on the 17th at Gyu-Kaku, then 21+ club after!! Saturday preparations for my bday and then PARTY at my houz. Damn it was hella fun, even tho I couldn't remember part of it and passed out at around 11pm. haha. Sunday was a recovery day, then Monday = 4.20!! damn, t'was a really really good week. Yesterday was Hazel's bday party @ the Hilton which was waaaaaaaay too much fun. Then tomorrow is a dope ass party @ Richards. I knew April was always the best month...Spring break and soooo many birthday parties to celebrate. APRIL BABIES FTW!!! =D

First of all I would like to wish Everybody a Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!
Secondly, Happy 2nd Anniversary to my fellow Sigma STUDS. f2k6 niggahs!!!

As the week progresses, it has become tougher and tougher to keep a well maintained balance between school and Zeta events. Juggling the two becomes very difficult (esp. during midterms week) Last night I stayed up literally til 5am because I came home after dance practice from about 3am. Exhausted, I still diligently kept awake to finish up the rest of my Anatomy homework and studied for the upcoming quiz for 8am. Sadly the results of the quiz did not signify my efforts and I pretty much bombed the quiz. *siigh* -__- Next time I'll put more time for my studies and less into being an out going person on the weekends. And for the rest of the week...

Today:
1. Read "The Erotic Poems"
2. Write up my Pagan Culture Essay
3. Zeta meeting @ 7pm
4. Greek Sing dance practice til whenever...

One word, "success!!" Not only did we help raise awareness of Gawad Kalinga, but we even raised enough money to build 2 houses. We appreciate everyone who came out and supported us and our cause. As for the convert itself, it was dope. You missed out on a great show if u didn't come thru. Although I don't have pix, I had the privilege of being Hospitality chair and helping out all the performing with getting situated and attending to their needs. So I was able to meet everyone and for the most part they were all pretty chill guys. It was amazing to see how many people, mostly the females, were goin crazy over Gabe, Leejay, Passion, and AJ. As the show finished, I escorted them out of the backstage to the front lobby to thier booth, it was madness. I finally got a little taste of how it feels to be a celebrity figure. haha. Later after all the fan craze, I was able to join them @ In&Out to jus eat and kick it with them and thier group of friends. Then afer that, after party at the club!! t'was a good full day of hard work and fun.

Today, I ended up staying on campus for almost 12hours. Wow, fml. Consisting of class and library takes a toll on you mentally. I'd advise everyone not to begin studies 5 hours before an exam, it really doesn't make sense to do so, yet here there I was cramming the shit outta my physio exam trying to pass with at least a B, fucck. Tomorrow should be similar because of my weekly anatomy quiz @ 8am. After that, I shall see everyone at IHOP to cop on some free pancakes, yeee!!! All the free food tomorrow available is the only thing keeping meh from the dreadful thought of studying too much. FYI free food, just click it. As my first week of school came to an end, it was time for meh to put all my thoughts of school aside for a weekend spent in lovely Santa Barbara. We arrived a few hours behind schedule buh none-the-less, it jus increased my anticipation. As we got to the Chi Delt houz, it reminded meh of all the crazy experiences I've accumulated throughout the years inside that houz. haha good stuff. uggghh to give u a small summary of my first week of school. Lets just say, waking up at 7am everyday is fucking annoying as shit. Seriously, my early AM nights are over and usually am put to bed before midnight. =\ *siigh* My classes are pretty much as hard cuz I'm takin: Anatomy, Physiology, Pagan Culture, and tryna get up in SexEd. So next week the battle starts, because I'm aiming for at least a 3.5gpa this semester. haha

On a lighter note, this weeked I will be heading up to Santa Barbara for "my kids" pledge auction. The Alpha Mu Class of Chi Delta Theta, Alpha Chapter. It'll go down on friday and I will be the MC for that event, so it should be very interesting and fun. haha. As always, SB know's how to party so mos definately there will be a hella brackin after party!!! yessss i can finally party up with my lovely kiddos.

Although I want to express my thought and all the gibberish, I truly can't because my writing skillz suck too much. haha. So most importantly what I am really trying to say is that, because Barack is President and is being sworn to Presidency, it is also my time to step up and do this blog some justice. Imagine a wild mouse running thru ur kitchen...

one of these mother fuckers was running thru my bro Dennis' kitchen, and that's where the story began. I guess it was looking for food and went straight for the kitchen, then I stared into his black beady eyes and he fled. I knew he was still somewhere in the kitchen when i noticed a pantry door where he could have slipped under thru. Then the hunt began to to kill this ugly bitch. As we started taking random items out of the pantry (ex. rice dispenser) I noticed fresh ass pebble shit from the doorway, and I knew he was in there and kept searching. Once I noticed a small hole in the 32lbs. rice bag, he must've been hiding under that. Then as we lifted the bag to see if it was there, again that ugly fur-ball bolted out and jumped at us!! It slightly grazed me and we screamed like little pussies. It made it's way across the house to the laundry room and disappeared. This is not over and now we sleep with the thought of a rat inside our midsts. We will kill this fucker and have our revenge!!
